Gas Station Closed

Wayman

MARYVILLE, MO (2011-11-15)

A problem-ridden business in Maryville has lost its license to sell liquor.

The city council last night revoked the license for Finish Line convenience store and gas station to sell alcohol. City attorney Doug Thompson says investigators found numerous violations of selling to underage drinkers.

The city has also investigated Finish Line for selling gasoline with water in it and the Nodaway County Sheriff's Department has confiscated evidence on at least two raids dealing with synthetic drugs and drug paraphernalia investigations. Yesterday before the liquor license hearing, Finish Line was closed.
