Legendary country singer Gene Watson and his farewell party band are coming to Chillicothe this weekend.

It's part of the Chillicothe Arts Council season. Director Julie Ashbrook says the 6-time number one record artist should be a crowd favorite going from a Texas mechanic to mainstream star.

Sunday's concert will be at the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center in Chillicothe. Ticket sales open there at 2 on Sunday with the concert at 3.
