A North Central Missouri Agency gets more than half a million dollars for business development in the region.

Green Hills Rural Development in Trenton is receiving the $500,000 loan and $105,000 grant from the USDA. The money will be loaned to rural microentrepreneurs in the 11 county area Green Hills serves. Microentrepreneurs are defined as those hiring 5 or fewer employees.
