NODAWAY COUNTY, MO (2010-11-01) Just in time for colder days northwest Missouri residents can get help reducing their utility bills this winter.
Community services will provide a weatherization program to help low income families, the elderly, and disabled reduce their energy bills. The program includes services such as cleaning furnaces, repairing drywall, and insulating walls and attics. The weatherization program is available to residents year round. Nodaway County Community services weatherization coordinator Laura Parman says there are many services the program offers that residents may not know about. Residents can apply for the program at their local community services office.
