MARYVILLE, MO (2010-11-18) The Maryville R-2 School district met last night and discussed new business on the agenda including drug testing and a bid for new sod on the high school football field.

Among the discussion was also old business in dealing with the property built by vocational students that has not been sold yet. The district is creating a proposal to realtors in the city to get the property sold. In new business dealing with the random drug testing of students, superintendent Vickie Miller explained more. Also on the agenda was a bid on re sodding the high school football field. The bid is looking at around $70,000 and will come out of a one time expenditure budget. None of the new business items were passed and will be further discussed.
