MARYVILLE, MO (2010-11-29) Missouri citizens will have have new lawmakers guiding decisions as the legislative session starts up next year.
That's because of the term limit law in the show-me-state and this is one of those years where turnover in the statehouse will be large. State senator Jane Cunningham says term limits are a challenge for governing. She points to a cyber-bullying bill being brought to the floor for discussion, even though previous lawmakers had already addressed the issue. Cunningham led the recent effort to delete old, outdated state laws in Missouri, a process that lawmakers say can end up saving money coming into tough financial times.
