ST. JOSEPH, MO (2010-11-22) A financial workshop focusing on predatory lending is coming to St. Joseph.

"When creditors are predators" is a workshop designed to provide training and resources to help manage credit appropriately, improve credit scores, and to help make informed financial decisions. Dr. Travnichek, Family Financial Education specialist with the University of Missouri extension is hosting the workshop. "When Creditors Are Predators" will be held on the 30th at the St. Joseph YWCA. The workshop is scheduled to run from 1 O'clock until 3. The registration deadline for the workshope is today.
