GRANT CITY, MO (2010-11-12) A Worth county couple is taking a unique restaurant idea on the road.
The "Worth Smokin' Bar-B-Que" opens today in Grant City at the comish service station. But owner Tyler and Becky McElvain's Bar-B-Que concept is not staying in a building but on a mobile trailer. Tyler McElvain says besides set hours in Grant City, they plan on taking the eatery to Stanberry, King City, Maryville, and surrounding communities advertising their "Pit Stop" location of the day on Facebook. Worth Smokin' Bar-B-Que also got start up business help from the restaurant owners group that is part of the Northwest Missouri Enterprise Facilitation Organization which helps entrepreneurs in a 6-County area of northwest Missouri.
