BUCHANAN COUNTY, MO (2010-11-05) A former worker in the public administrator's office in Buchanan County is sentenced in federal court.

Kim Adams plead guilty to stealing from more than 30 victims when she was with the public administrator's office. Her total take was more than $40,000. Yesterday the federal authorities sentenced Adams to probation for 3 years and 200 hours of community service. Her boss, former public administrator Bonnie Sue Lawson, is currently in prison on a 37 month sentence also for stealing from clients. Lawson took nearly $120,000.
