Northwest Missouri Road Work

NORTHWEST MISSOURI, MO (2010-11-23) Right before the holiday break and travel season, the Missouri Department of Transportation plan two road projects today in our region.

Weather permitting, crews will be patching asphalt on Highway 71 in Nodaway County. Both North and South bound lanes will be effected. The work will be about 2 miles south of Highway 136 and 71 will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing traffic through the work zone. Also today in Gentry County, crews will be replacing a culvert on Highway F, that is 4 miles north of Highway 136 north east of Stanberry. Highway F at that section will be closed to all traffic. The road work on both projects is depending on the weather and both are expected to be back normal by 3 this afternoon.
