Nodaway Drug Sweep

NODAWAY COUNTY, MO (2010-11-22) Nearly a dozen people have been arrested in Nodaway County and parts of South West Iowa.

It is the second major drug roundup organized by the Nodaway County Sheriff's Office. Investigators are targeting those who buy large quantities of medicine and other items used to make methamphetamine. They tell us they are getting cooperation from local stores and from a new state wide database pharmacies are entering information into. We will hear from one of the drug investigators on the operation during newscasts tomorrow here on 90.5 and 88.9 FM.
