New Harmonies Opens

MARYVILLE, MO (2010-11-12) A nationally- traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian opens this Sunday in Maryville.

It is called "New Harmonies: Celebrating American Roots Muskc". It will be on the second floor of the Nodaway County Historical Society Museum in Maryville. The exhibit features information, videos, and recordings on the wide range of roots music including blues, gospel, folk, barbership, and ethnic music like that from the american indian culture.
