NEBRASKA CITY, NE (2010-11-01) A number of citizens are expected to be appointed at the council meeting this evening in Nebraska City.

Open positions include the Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department there, as well as the Nebraska City Board of Adjustment. Council members are also discussing some zoning changes, a request to move handicapped parking at 905 East 3rd and Corso and a nearly $70,000 payment for the memorial way project. The city council meeting in Nebraska City starts at 6 tonight.
