MARYVILLE, MO (2011-11-08) The Maryville city council meets tonight.
On the agenda is discussion on Maryville's participation in the "Great Northwest Days" lobbying effort. The city has joined with other regional communities in past year for a trip to Jefferson City to visit with lawmakers about priorities in this part of the state. Council members are expected to begin weighing in on topics and issues they want brought up with state leaders. Also tonight the Maryville city council is expected to purchase another outdoor storm siren warning system, a mini excavator for the Water and Sewer Maintenance Department, and purchase construction materials for the palnned bathhouse at Mozingo Lake. The Maryville council meeting starts at 7 at City Hall.
