Holiday Travel

Tritten

MARYVILLE, MO (2010-11-22) Gas prices may jump this week just in time for Thanksgiving travel.

Drivers heading out of town for the holiday will probably see a spike in fuel prices. Marshall Shell is a gas station owner in Maryville. He's predicting we could see a 20 cents an increase per gallon. According to Shell, distributors say a fuel shortage is causing the soaring prices. He says switching the type of fuel you use can save money. To avoid lines at the pump in Maryville, Shell recommends drivers fill up before tomorrow evening, when university classes break for Thanksgiving.
