Hog Farm Plans

SAVANNAH, MO (2010-11-29) The Missouri Department of Natural Resources confirms it has received an application for a large hog farm planned just outside of Savannah.

The Springfield Missouri based company Great River Engineering has filed the paperwork and is planning a 10,000 hog facility about 2 miles northeast of Savannah. That would be a major expansion of the existing hog farm there owned by Joe Knorr. It could be January before state officials move forward with the application permit process for the rural Savannah site.
