CAMERON, MO (2010-11-09) A court date of next Wednesday is set in Cameron for the Cameron man now charged in the death of Chillicothe's Angela Newsom.

Investigators believe it was her body that was inside the burned out car discovered Friday afternoon in a Ravine east of Cameron on Griffin Road. 39 year old Shawn Griffin Has been charged with murder in the second. Investigators say the two know each other but are not saying how. News reports indicate Griffin is the nephew of Bob Griffin, the longest serving speaker of the house in Missouri, who was convicted on federal bribery charges then had his sentence commuted by president Clinton.
