MARYVILLE, MO (2010-11-05) The Northwest Missouri State University family and Consumer Science Department is inviting the public to come to Friday Night Cafe starting tonight at 5.
Students will be preparing a series of meals from different cultures as part of their quantity foods and preparation class. There will be a different featured culture every Friday for the next three weeks. Tonight's focus is Greece. Next week; November 12th it's Morroco, and November 19th, Mexico. Karen From, director of didactic program in dietetics, says students are gaining a lot from this experience. Tickets may be purchased at the student services desk on the first floor of the Administration Building on the campus in Maryville.
