DEKALB COUNTY, MO (2010-11-03) In yesterday's election in Dekalb County with 12 of 12 precincts reporting.
For US senate Roy Blunt defeated Robin Carnahan with 63% of the vote. For the 6th district house seat Sam Graves won re-election with 74% of the vote. State auditor Susan Montee loses to challanger Tom Schweich who won 53% of the vote. For the 5th district state representive Glen Klippenstein wins with 65%. Tom Chapman will be the new judge for circuit 43 winning 71% of the vote. The Dekalb County commissioner will be Harold Allison with 58% county clerk is Mellissa Meek with 57% of the vote. In the city of Osborn the telecommunications tax fails with 67% of the vote. State constitution Amendment 1 passes with 73% of the vote. Amendment 2 passes with 57%. Amendment 3 passes with 86%. On proposition B the voters in Dekalb County said no with 74% of the vote.
