CHILLICOTHE, MO (2010-11-10) Today is the deadline to register for a luncheon celebrating Chillicothe's recent win at the state's community betterment awards.

The chamber is holding the event this Friday bringing in keynote speaker Jan Simon, the executive director of the Missouri Community Betterment Educational Foundation. The city won in the "Community" and "Youth" awards at this year's conference. Anyone wishing to attend the celebration should RSVP to the chamber by the end of business today. The luncheon will be at 12 noon on Friday at the Chillicothe Country Club and is being held in Conjuction with the regular Chillicothe Rotary Club meeting.
