SHENANDOAH, IA (2009-11-06) Shenandoah residents may start noticing something funny about their water this weekend, but City crews say not to worry.
Starting Sunday afternoon, Shenandoah's water department will install a new water valve at the intersection of Elm and West Sheridan Avenue closing off that intersection to traffic. Through Monday and possibly Tuesday water in a large part of Shenandoah may be discolored as a result of the valve shut-off, but City officials say the water color should return to normal by Wednesday.
