Tour Missouri Invite

CHILLICOTHE, SAVANNAH, and ST. JOSEPH, MO (2009-11-06) Chillicothe, Savannah, and St. Joseph all participated in this year's "Tour of Missouri" bicycle race.

Now: it's time for other cities to join in. The all-call went out yesterday to Missouri towns, inviting them to write a proposal on way they should be included in next year's bike race. The cities can bid to host a "Stage Designation". It's estimated the economic impact from this year's race was more than 38 million dollars. next year's race will be the fourth year for the Tour of Missouri.
