ST. JOSEPH, MO. (2009-11-20) A St. Joseph school is one of just 5 in the State benefiting from a federal free computer program.
The computers were used in senate offices, but 5 will be shipped to Humbolt elementary for it to use. It's part of the US senate's "Computers For Schools" program, which randomly selects qualfying schools to get surplus government computers. The Compaq D-510 units should arrive over Christmas break for use next semester.
