MARYVILLE, MO (2009-11-03) An extended hours clinic opens starting today in Maryville.

Hospital officials tell us the move comes after listening to patient's and community surveys requesting after-hours care and a less expensive alternative to the emergency room. Doctors Patt Har and Michael Wurm will provide the acute-care services. The after-hours clinic will be located at the St. Francis orthopedic and sports medicine clinic that's across from the emergency room at St. Francis Hospital. The hours are from 5 t0 6:30 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. An additional Monday evening clinic is set to start in Mid-December.
