MARYVILLE, MO (2009-11-16) We could find out soon what the Maryville City council decides on the proposed smoking ban.

A grassroots effort is urging the council in Maryville to declare all workplace smoking everywhere illegal currently it's just in places that get the majority of their profits from food sales. The council has held two public hearings and got input from all sides. City manager Matt LaCurf says the council now has some choices. The Maryville City council could take up the issue again as it meets on November 23rd.
