SAVANNAH, MO (2009-11-04) Savannah has chosen its engineer to investigate the water treatment plant.
At the last meeting Savannah City Council members decided to hire local firm Bartlett and West for the work. Some discussion was held on whether to use another local firm Snyder and associates which Savannah Council members agreed have done good work in other projects but they decided to spread out the city's contracts. The engineering study on Savannah's water treatment plant by Bartlett and West will cost nearly $16,000. Savannah is applying for a DNR grant which would pay 90& of that cost.
