NW Hiking Trails

MARYVILLE, MO (2009-11-30) Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville is finishing up construction of several concrete hike and bike trails.

The routes surround most sides of the University- popular areas for joggers and walkers. Associate director of environmental services at Northwest Lezlee Johnson says they'll also tie in with the city's trails system- especially on the West side of Campus. Wet weather has slowed the opening of some of the routes, but sunny weather a few weeks ago did allow for the Campus project to be expedited.
