MOUND CITY, MO. (2009-11-11) The Mound City board finds construction for the City Hall renovation comes in at more than it budgeted for.

At the recent board meeting members agreed to hire nauman construction for the renovations, after considering several options on how to make it cheaper. The work will cost around $50,000. The Mound City board has also unanimously approved a new wording for the sewer user charge. In other business, Mound City collector Cathey Kling resigned from her position. And a city inspection will be done on 810 Savannah Street in Mound City next week.
