MARYVILLE, MO (2009-11-24) A Northern Missouri company has nearly set a record for landing a $3.4 million loan through a State program.
Weber seeds of marshall Missouri- South of Carrolton- got the small business loan through the "Missouri Linked Deposit Program", and it's one of the largest ever issued through that program. Weber seeds applied for the money to re-finance two loans, and built a secondary plant and bought equipment to expand into the wholesale business. Over the length of the 5 year loan, Weber should save more than $300,000. The "Missouri Linked Deposit Program" allows for low-interest loans to Missouri businesses and currently has $520 million to give out.
