MARCELINE, MO. (2009-11-05) Planning is the next big step for the Marceline R-5 school district.
The planning involves the new vocational-agriculture building that is being built for the school. Superintendent Gabe Edgar said that the step has been taken. The money borrowed totals 1.75 million dollars and is also going towards upgrading the air conditioning at the middle school and upgrading security at the elementary school. Edgar hopes to have the vocational-agriculture building up for the 2010 school year.
