BROOKFIELD, MO. (2009-11-19) The Brookfield R-3 school district has found a new way to battle student drug use.
A student drug testing process is now in place at the school. The process selects students to be tested at random and the results are confidential. Superintendent Dr. paul barger says he thinks the policy has had a positive effect. Barger says the drug screening is something the school had been talking about for a long time.
