MARYVILLE, MO (2008-11-20) It's not often a community gets a ribbon cutting for three stores at once.
But yesterday's ceremony in Maryville's downtown district did just that.
The used clothing store, thrift shop, and variety store are all operated by the sheltered workshop and recycle community castaways to raise money for the workshop.
Carol Klint is a co-founder of the 3-store complex and says it's a win-win for all involved.
The over-run of items being donated to the sheltered workshop outlets are even helping other thrift shops in north Missouri and the state.
