MARYVILLE, MO (2008-11-20) The five-year road plan for missouri could be detoured if the economic downturn continues.

That's the warning from MODOT director Pete Rahn, who points out road money being generated by a constitutional amendment is set to run out in 2010.

Rahn says if poor state income the first part of this fiscal year continues, our roads won't be the only things with holes.

Slow vehicle sales in the show me state are being blamed for an 11 percent drop in vehicle sales tax revenues.
