CLARINDA, MO (2008-11-18) Clarinda police are warning of a bad check scheme in town.

They say checks from a closed account have been surfacing in Clarinda.

The name on the account is Jessica Muller at Page County State bank.

That account has been closed for 3 years.

Police are asking businesses to confiscate the bad checks and call police immediately.
