ALBANY, MO (2008-11-20) Albany is one step closer to upgrading its airport in the next several years.

At the City Council meeting this week members inked a deal between the city and the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission.

This will administer grant funds to pay an engineer to create an airport master layout plan.

That grant is for just over $40,000.
