Maryville residents may notice water running in the streets this week, but hopefully not much else.

The city is flushing water lines as part of its annual maintenance. Maryville public works director C.E Goodall says residents shouldn't notice any change in water service.

The city is flushing lines in the east part of town now and working along depot street toward the west end of Maryville. Work is expected to be finished on Friday afternoon.
