USDA Loans

Grady

NODAWAY COUNTY, MO (2012-05-08)

Nodaway County USDA Farm Service Agency is reminding producers that the FSA has two loans for socially disadvantaged applicants.

The USDA identifies socially disadvantaged applicants as Women-African Americans, American Indians, Alaskan Natives, Hispanics, Asians and Pacific Islanders. Nodaway County USDA Farm Service Agency FLM Charlotte Holeman says there are two loans available which can be used to purchase farms and make improvements to farms.

Loans are established to be repaid in one to seven years depending on the Collateral provided by an applicant. In 2011's Fiscal year Missouri FSA obligated 17 million dollars in direct and guaranteed loans to socially disadvantaged producers.
