Nodaway Crops

Grady

NODAWAY COUNTY, MO (2012-05-08)

With recent heavy storms moving through northwest Missouri area AG producers are concerned with the health of their crops.

CED of Nodaway County Farm Service Agency Tim Dryer says the amounts of rainfall in Nodaway County varied greatly with in town amounts totaling one inch while a few miles north of town received nearly 4 inches of rain with the same storm. Dryer says despite the powerful rainfall received last week Nodaway County crops seem to be in good shape.

Dryer thinks this dry week will give area producers time to plant. The forecast is calling for a dry cooler week with a chance of showers and thunderstorms returning to the area this coming weekend.
