CHILLICOTHE, MO (2012-05-04)
After many residents showed interest in the recent home invasion east of Chillicothe, the Livingston County Sheriff is encouraging everyone to prepare a plan of action for emergency situations.
Area schools practice tornado and fire drills so students know what to do in those scenarios, but Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox says similar drills are critical to have in place at home as well. Sheriff Cox says we would all like to believe we are safe in our homes, but many different scenarios can happen and a plan is handy incase those situations arise.
Sheriff Cox adds safety and security are the most important thing for our families and taking time to develop drills and share these emergency home plans is a way to further protect your loved ones.© Copyright, KXCV
