ALLISON
ST. JOSEPH, MO (2012-05-25)
A Panel of leaders from the Missouri Department of Transportation met with the public earlier this week to discuss projects and funding.
Citizens showed up to the mo dot district office in Saint Joseph to voice their opinions. The meetings on Missouri's Transportation needs are sponsored by the Blue Ribbon Citizens Committee that was appointed in early March by Missouri House speaker Steven Tilley. Community Relations specialist Travis Ellis says the Blue Ribbon Meetings are important because of the interaction between the people and mo dot.
Mo dot and the Blue Ribbon Citizens Committee have more meetings planned for around that state to gather more information from stakeholders and citizens. For more information on the Public Meetings you can visit www.mo.org/northwest.© Copyright, KXCV
