Tomorrow has been designated as Bike to Work Day in Missouri.
One Maryville resident who can be seen riding his bike to work during the summertime is Northwest Missouri State University Assistant Professor Dr. Doug Sudhoff, who teaches in the Mass Communications department. Sudhoff says he receives several benefits from using his bicycle to commute to work.
May is also Missouri Bike Month and an area group observing the month is the St. Joseph Bicycle Club. A spokesperson for the club Bob Neidinger says being an avid cyclist has made a difference in his life.This is the first year the state of Missouri has officially recognized National Bike Month and Bike to Work Day.© Copyright, KXCV
