Albany Board of Education approves teacher pay increase

ALBANY, MO (2012-05-23)

The Albany, Missouri Board of Education approved the 2012-2013 fiscal year budget Monday night.

Superintendent Bryan Prewitt says the 4 million 4,000 dollar budget includes some good news for the district's teachers and staff.

Prewitt will be leaving the Albany School District at the conclusion of the current fiscal year to take the Superintendent's position in the Lone Jack School District. The Albany Board of Education last night also set up interviews for last night and tonight to meet with candidates for the Superintendent's position.
