Summer Reading Program

Wayman

MARYVILLE, MO (2011-05-31)

Registration is now open for the Maryville Public Library Summer Reading Program.

The actual program starts tomorrow and runs through July 30th. Kids of all ages can pick up a log book from the library, then keep track of the number of books or minutes they read the next two months. Library director Stephanie Patterson says this year's multi-cultural, global theme is "One World, Many Stories". She says a number of programs are planned for the program, including the first one next Friday.

Other programs at the Maryville Library include a scholastic book fair starting June 17th, a Harry Potter party on July 14th, and an end of summer reading party wrap up party on July 30th. You are asked to stop by or call the library to RSVP for those events. That number is 660-582-5281.
