The St. Joseph City Council meets tonight.

On the agenda is approval to appoint several citizens to various community boards. Members are also expected to approve a budget change for nearly $14,000 in maintenance to the Wyeth-Tootle mansion,, purchase an aerial platform apparatus and refurbish another for the Fire Department for a cost of nearly $820,000, half a million dollar grant request by the YWCA to purchase Bliss Manor to create a 39 unit apartment for transitional housing. Council members are also expected to approve an agreement with MoDOT that will install automated red light camera enforcement systems at various intersection in St. Joseph. The meeting starts tonight at 7 at City Hall.
