The St. Joseph City Council meets tonight, a day after the regular time because of yesterday's holiday.
The agenda includes a public hearing starting at 7 regarding the proposed sewer rate increases. Council members will also consider a change to the ordinance on electric traffic controls being set up at several locations around St. Joseph, the $12,000 purchase of two thermal imaging cameras for the fire department, releasing $1.4 million for the development of a 9 unit affordable housing complex at Pear and Ajax in St. Joseph, and the purchase of a $40,000 historic replica clock to put in Coleman Hawkins Park on the Felix Street Square. The sewer rate hearing and city council meeting starts at 7 tonight at the St. Joseph City Hall.
