Despite the rainy weather downtown Maryville is moving forward with construction plans.

Loch Sand and Construction Company has completed work on the Intersection of 3Rd and Main, and plan to reopen this section of road today. Public works director C.E. Goodall says the downtown streetscape project is moving along pretty well.

Goodall goes on to say the weather received last night shouldn't hold up the closing of 4th and Main Intersection today.Goodall adds he is happy with the timeline the streetscape project is on.
