Crews and equipment from St. Joseph are headed to Joplin today.

The city's Public Works and Transportation Department is sending 2 bulldozer-type loaders with buckets along with 2 operators apiece. A St. Joseph city spokeswoman tells us they don't know how long they will be in Joplin helping until the situation on the ground can be assessed.
