First the Chillicothe city manager was asked to leave, now the city's administrative assistant follows the same path.

The city has asked Joella Shiflett to step down immediately with 2 weeks severance pay. Shiflett submitted her resignation. Chillicothe City Council members last week voted to let the city administrator go, sighting a push by voters in the last election for a change in direction from the city leaders.
