MARYVILLE, MO (2010-05-31) A new scholarship for teachers pursuing Master's Degrees at Northwest Missouri State has been awarded to a Maryville teacher.

John Deweese is the first recipient of the "Graduate Business Education Scholarship".

It will be awarded each year to a middle or secondary business education teacher pursuing his or her Masters degree.

The scholarship is given by former business education teacher Marilyn Hamm, who is now a self-employed accountant... And the late Carolyn Elswick, who was a graduate of Northwest.
