Savannah, MO (2010-05-19) The Savannah Board of Aldermen once again postpones a decision on participating in the state's "Dream" downtown redevelopment program.
At this week's city board meeting members postponed signing a contract with the Missouri Development Finance Board to provide consulting to the city on how to upgrade its downtown district.
Savannah was chosen by the state in 2009 as a participant for the next 3 years and receive assistance in revitalization efforts.
City Aldermen are investigating how much the program will cost Savannah.
